There is no shortage of beautiful fabric in the quilting world, and I've certainly contributed my share to keeping the fabric industry in business.
But choosing fabric involves more than finding a collection you love. Fiber content, weave, fabric quality, color, and the way different materials behave during cutting, piecing, and quilting all influence the finished project.
This section brings together the fabric sources, precuts, quilt kits, and block-of-the-month programs I use and enjoy. I'll share my experiences with different products and retailers, along with the things I consider when deciding what belongs in my fabric collection.

And I have these as well, plus a few other collections. Tula is just fun and versatile, excellent for fussy cuts when doing EPP.

Jolly Tree Farm Sew Along - Free pattern - This one was quick and simple.
Designer Mystery Block of the Month 2026 - This is turning out beautifully, uses the “Cat Named Stitch” fabric collection which is absolutely beautiful.
Designer Mystery Block of the Month Reservation 2027 - I intend to do this next year, this is my first year and I’m impressed with the materials provided, the well written instructions and how it is all turning out.
Charity Quilt Along 2027 - I will do this one next year, I’ve done the charity quilt along for the past two years now and the quilts are beautiful.
