Thread, Notions & Finishing

It's easy to spend a considerable amount of time choosing fabric, planning a quilt, and deciding on a pattern, only to discover that some of the smallest supplies have an enormous influence on how smoothly the project comes together.

Thread, needles, pins, marking tools, and binding supplies might not attract the same attention as a beautiful fabric collection, but I certainly notice when I'm using something that doesn't work particularly well.

Over the years, I've accumulated plenty of notions, experimented with different products, and developed preferences for the supplies I reach for most often. Some have become indispensable, while others have taught me that an interesting gadget isn't necessarily a useful one.

Here you'll find the threads, notions, and finishing supplies I personally use, along with my observations about where they work best.
